Our Work Across Greater Cincinnati

Benchmark Land Management has completed excavation, grading, drainage, and site development projects for residential, commercial, and municipal clients throughout the Greater Cincinnati and West Chester area. Browse some of our recent project highlights below.

Benchmark Land Management constructed a 7-foot-wide sidewalk and curb system along Hopewell Road to provide safe pedestrian access to Hopewell Meadows Park. The project required careful grading and drainage integration to match the existing roadway profile while meeting ADA accessibility standards and township specifications.

The Sharon Creek Rehabilitation Project was a collaborative initiative between Mill Creek Alliance, Great Parks, Tri-State Trails, and MSDGC focused on protecting critical sewer infrastructure, enhancing wildlife habitat, and creating a corridor for future regional trail development. The project involved the realignment of Sharon Creek and an increase in stream capacity to improve flood conveyance and provide long-term benefits to surrounding residents and properties. Construction efforts included the installation of approximately 6,700 tons of rock for slope stabilization and erosion control, along with approximately 25,000 cubic yards of soil excavation.

This project for the City of Mason involved the installation of additional storm sewer infrastructure to accommodate the construction of a new multi-use paved bike path connecting Kings Island to the commercial corridor along Kings Mills Road. The project was developed to provide a safe, accessible route for pedestrians and cyclists traveling between Kings Island, nearby businesses, and surrounding destinations.

This project for Anderson Township included comprehensive landscape and hardscape improvements within the limited access right-of-way and interchange field areas at the Interstate 275 and Kellogg Avenue Interchange and US 52 and Kellogg Avenue Interchange. Project scope included removal of existing turf and landscape features, grading operations, drainage improvements, placement of topsoil, installation of new landscape plantings, turf grass, native meadow areas, retaining walls, decorative stone installations, and gateway signage. The project also incorporated AC-powered underpass uplighting and solar-powered wall and artwork lighting systems.

This project for Great Parks of Hamilton County involved excavation and channel improvement work beneath and around the bridge crossing that provides access to Sharon Woods. The project was designed to improve hydraulic flow beneath the structure, reduce flood-related impacts and damage to the bridge, and provide more reliable egress to Sharon Woods during significant storm events. The project also included the replacement of old and damaged sanitary sewer infrastructure to improve the reliability and long-term performance of the Sharon Woods sewer network.

Benchmark Land Management led a comprehensive site redevelopment at the West Chester Township Safety Services Building, transforming the facility’s exterior environment through full pavement reconstruction, entrance reconstruction, and the addition of a memorial garden honoring local first responders. The project also included the installation of access control gates, EV charging infrastructure, and significant landscape improvements — all completed while maintaining uninterrupted access to the active police and fire departments housed on-site.

Benchmark Land Management is performing aging sewer replacement throughout West Chester Township as part of an ongoing infrastructure renewal effort. The scope includes coordination with curb replacement, catch basin reconstruction, and roadway paving — ensuring each phase integrates seamlessly with existing municipal systems and minimizes disruption to residents and traffic flow.
