The Sharon Creek Rehabilitation Project was a collaborative initiative between Mill Creek Alliance, Great Parks, Tri-State Trails, and MSDGC focused on protecting critical sewer infrastructure, enhancing wildlife habitat, and creating a corridor for future regional trail development. The project involved the realignment of Sharon Creek and an increase in stream capacity to improve flood conveyance and provide long-term benefits to surrounding residents and properties. Construction efforts included the installation of approximately 6,700 tons of rock for slope stabilization and erosion control, along with approximately 25,000 cubic yards of soil excavation.
